![]() ![]() I got this problem over and over, until I managed to get rid of all and every remnants of intermediate driver installations and was able to reinstall the driver that Windows Update Any other tester here with same experiences? Does anyone know how to fix it for all games? for Burnout Paradise i had to change the screen resolution in the option field to 1366 x 786 (this will fix it) Now my Question: Why is it like it is? this should be supported with the directx versions or at least windows should set it itself to see which resolution is on your screen and stretch it to it fullest. ![]() after a bit reading in other forums i found for my warcraft a regedit fix to change it manually and its fine now. the next thing to try was to install the directx9c - either no results. Next i tried some modified drivers for the card (DNA Catalyst driver) but these didnt fixed it and also no option for screen fitting. i also searched on the catalyst drivers if the option is avaible for "Fit to Screen" but it wasnt. i tried first to install the newest driver for windows 7 (catalyst beta for win7) but nothing changed. the sides are black (also with the resolution 1024x768). I thought first its just warcraft so i started Burnout Paradise - same result. now that the max resolution is set on warcraft to 1024 x 768 it wont fit to my display format. To my system: i got a notebook with a ati radeon 3430 (mobile i think) and the screen is 1366 x 786. Since i started my beloved Warcraft III (Frozen Throne) and realised that the resolution got an error. I've upgraded my Vista Home Edition few days ago with the latest Windows 7 RC. ![]()
